We are a 501(c)3 non-profit called CARD-NH, which stands for Center for Autism and Related Disabilities of New Hampshire. CARD-NH is organized to provide respite care for families affected by autism/education and support services.
We have partnered with the space at Potter’s House Bakery to work together to open Cindy’s Sensory Room in Rochester, NH. It is our hope that Cindy’s Sensory Room will be a space for children of all ages with sensory needs to use. Customers can enjoy the space while visiting the Potter’s House Bakery or just come for a visit. Employees can use the space when needed and we hope to work side by side with the Potter’s House to continue their mission of on the job training to train young adults to work in this setting. Employees will receive training in caring for the equipment, scheduling the space and enhancing employee social skills when working with the public.
